Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers to keep vehicles on the road. Technicians will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and handle roadside services with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Able to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work rotating day/night shifts.
• DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end, electrical, suspensions, A/C or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work a rotating schedule of day and night shifts.
• DOT medical card is paid by Love’s.
