Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. You’ll interact with customers and drivers in a fast-paced environment, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The position offers competitive hourly wages ($25.00 - $42.00 p/hr), company-funded tuition assistance, PTO, flexible scheduling, and strong benefits after 30 days, with a path for career development and growth

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters; tolerate varying temperatures
• Always prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while following company safety policies
• Operate a rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
