Job summary

Love‘s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues in a fast-paced service environment. You’ll interact with drivers and customers, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable operations across miles of road.

This role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts. Love’s provides company-paid DOT medical card processing when required.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting light mechanical issues across electrical, suspension, A/C and engine components.
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• DOT medical card required or ability to obtain; paid by Love’s.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
