Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking Diesel Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist customers and drivers, perform preventative maintenance, and contribute to a safe, efficient travel-stop experience. Responsibilities include handling wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components, while rotating between day and night shifts and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C or engine components.
• Provide preventative maintenance services as part of routine vehicle care.
• Strong customer service skills to assist drivers and interact with customers on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as listed in the job functions.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services as part of routine vehicle care.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters and varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
