Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, repairing and maintaining trucks, while assisting customers with roadside services and preventative maintenance.

You will interact with drivers from across the region, contributing to safer journeys and better days for travelers. The position offers rotating day/night shifts and strong benefits, including tuition assistance, paid time off, flexible scheduling, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components)
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters; work in various temperatures
• Rotate between day and night shifts
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components)
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Maintain safety and satisfaction of customers per safety policies
• Work a rotating schedule of day and night shifts
• Possibility to obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s)
