Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Texas is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team in Temple. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, service vehicles, and support drivers and customers on the road.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Willingness to interact with customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures and maintain a customer‑first approach.
