Job summary

McCandless Truck Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform high-quality maintenance and repairs on International Motors and IC Bus vehicles. You will follow repair procedures, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include reviewing repair orders, performing planned maintenance, documenting work, and mentoring junior staff while communicating effectively with teammates and customers.

Qualifications

Medium or heavy-duty technician experience or equivalent.
Applicable certifications related to industry, products, and/or safety.
Current CDL or ability to obtain CDL.
International Master Certified is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review repair orders and prepare for service events.
Perform maintenance and repairs following established standards and safety procedures.
Document work clearly in the repair order and coordinate next jobs to maintain workflow.
Troubleshoot and service International Truck and IC Bus products with proper tools.
Mentor coworkers and apprentices through coaching and knowledge sharing.
