Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, interact with customers and drivers, and keep equipment in top condition.

Work involves troubleshooting wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components, and performing preventative maintenance. The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and a willingness to rotate day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to rotate day and night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
