Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking a skilled Fleet Service Truck Technician to maintain diesel trucks, trailers and refrigeration units. You will perform preventative maintenance and diagnose a range of systems to keep equipment road-ready and reliable.

You will replace brakes, service ABS, complete FHWA inspections, and service APUs while operating forklifts and road service as needed. Prior DOT inspection experience and ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and own toolbox or ability to obtain one.
• 1+ year shop experience with DOT inspections or brakes or completed tech school certification.
• ASE Brakes/Suspension/PMs certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and service trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
• Repair trailer bodies and doors; perform interior/exterior trailer cleaning.
• Operate forklifts/hoists and drive company vehicles; perform road service as needed.
