Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Service Truck Technician to keep our trucks, trailers, and reefers road-ready. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose fuel, electrical, and braking systems, and service APU units in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of shop experience or tech-school certification, with a toolbox and tools on hand. Night shifts include a $2/hour differential and ASE certification pay in special areas.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of shop experience performing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or completion of tech school certification.
• Familiarity with diesel engines and trailer/APU systems preferred.
• Ability to read manuals and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and service trailer ABS systems.
