Job summary

Kalmbach Trucking is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain, repair, and overhaul vehicles and equipment used for in-facility and outside deliveries. The role requires inspecting and testing equipment at set intervals and after malfunctions, disassembling worn parts, and fitting new ones to keep the fleet in top condition.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years of hands-on diesel experience, and tools for heavy truck repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Diesel Mechanic or 3 to 5 years hands on experience.
• Has minimum tools for heavy truck repair, list will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and test equipment at prescribed intervals and after breakdowns.
• Disassemble and replace worn parts; fit new parts.
• Record all work and parts used in web based records system; complete paperwork.
