PITT OHIO in Eighty Four, PA is seeking a Diesel Technician to service and repair fleet equipment at our Eighty Four location. The role emphasizes safety, reliability and quality workmanship in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Two years' verifiable experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair.
• A valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• A CDL, ASE and State/Federal inspections preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of heavy trucks and trailers repair procedures.
• Basic hand tools required.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing fleet equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Performs failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds components.
• Documents work orders and maintains accurate time/parts records.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and complies with company policies.
• Operates and inspects equipment to diagnose defects and perform maintenance.
• Travel to other shop locations as needed.
