Job summary
JoB Training & Coaching in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our service team. The role focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles on a full-time first shift.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of diesel experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment. A valid driver's license and own tools are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of diesel technician experience.
- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license; ability to obtain CDL.
- Own personal tools required for the job.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
- Diagnose vehicle issues based on customer concerns and inspection findings.
- Troubleshoot electrical, suspension, steering, driveline, transmission, and brake systems.
- Perform engine repairs and component replacements.
- Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately.
- Conduct road tests as needed to verify repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and development.
