Job summary

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. in Rapid City, SD is hiring Diesel Technicians to service and repair equipment for On Highway, Construction and Agriculture.

You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs on hydraulic, electrical and transmission systems. A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong customer service skills encouraged.

Competitive pay $25-$50 per hour, plus health and retirement benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or equivalent experience in hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, or related systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate with customers and document service reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs to ensure proper function.
• Respond to service calls and document job progress and parts used.
• Provide clear communication to supervisor and customers.
• Complete service reports and order parts.
