Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on experience as a diesel technician.
• Michigan State Certifications in Heavy Duty Truck (Trainee Permit accepted).
• Knowledge of diesel engine repair, powertrains, and electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Good verbal, written, and computer skills.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Chauffeur's License required (CDL a plus).
• Reliable commute to Southeast Michigan locations; on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and powertrain issues on trucks and buses.
• Repair diesel engines, powertrains, and electrical systems according to spec.
• Maintain scheduled preventive maintenance for fleet vehicles.
• Document repair orders, warranty work, and labor in records.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-repair inspections for quality and safety.
• Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to deliver timely results.
