  • Brake, Steering, Driveline & Transmission Repair Experience
  • Ability to Use Computer-Based Diagnostic Equipment
  • Must Provide Your Own Professional Tool Set
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record
  • Ability to Obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Stable Employment History
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Vocational or Technical Training Preferred
  • OEM Training Preferred
  • Ase Certification Preferred
  • EPA 608/609 Certification Preferred
  • International Truck Experience Preferred
  • Cummins Engine Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for a first-shift opportunity in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Position Overview

The Diesel Technician performs diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and major component overhauls on heavy-duty commercial trucks while maintaining dealership and manufacturer quality standards. This position performs work independently, documents repair recommendations, mentors less experienced technicians, and participates in ongoing OEM training and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose heavy-duty truck mechanical and electrical issues
  • Repair diesel engines, drivetrains, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems
  • Perform major engine and drivetrain component replacements

Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • First Shift
  • 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (7:30 AM-4:30 PM option)
  • No Nights
  • No Weekends
