Job summary
Bee Line Transport in Illinois is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic for in-person work. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and compliance with manufacturer specs.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED; diesel engine repair experience and the ability to run diagnostic programs are essential. CDL and state inspection license are a plus; the company offers a heated shop, after-hours road service pay, and a $5000

Responsibilities
- conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
- preventative maintenance service and repairs.
- repair equipment for proper performance and to meet manufacturer specifications.
- electrical trouble shooting.
- tire maintenance.
- minor transmission repairs.
- brake system repairs.
- air conditioning system repair.
- maintain vehicle records.
- verifies vehicle repairs by conducting test drives.
- performs other duties as assigned.
