Qualifications

• Must have basic diesel repair knowledge and automotive maintenance aptitude.
• Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment
• Replaces defective components and performs preventive maintenance
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the complaint
• Works in compliance with safety and DOT guidelines
• Supports operations with related duties as needed
