Job summary

Kenworth of Louisiana, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technician Class A to perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs across vehicle maintenance at our Gray, LA dealership. This role requires advanced diagnostic abilities and specialization in at least one repair area to uphold our high service standards.

The position entails diagnosing malfunctions, repairing to factory specifications, coordinating with parts and service advisors, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience and/or training.
• OEM certifications required for this level.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Performs work as outlined on repair orders to standards.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Documents all work performed on the work order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or referred to the test technician.
• Maintains and accounts for dealership-owned tools and manuals.
