Coastal Waste & Recycling is hiring a Diesel Technician B (Advanced Technician) in Panama City, FL. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and work with Masters to boost reliability.

Qualifications include 1+ year of diesel maintenance experience, tools, CDL Class A and relevant certifications are a plus. Competitive pay and strong safety culture are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience maintaining or repairing diesel trucks or heavy equipment.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension and PMs.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; must provide basic tools.
• ASE/Brake certifications and Class A CDL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and transmissions.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections to maximize reliability.
• Repairs on refuse trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment; welding/fabrication when qualified.
• Use diagnostic software and test equipment to identify faults; complete repair orders and records.
• Collaborate with Senior Technicians; respond to emergency repairs; maintain a safe workplace.
