Job summary

Love's Travel Stops invites applicants to join a Diesel Apprentices program. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers and drivers while learning electrical diagnostics, air conditioning and heating diagnostics, wheel end and air system diagnostics, and related repairs. Training is provided, no prior experience required.

Expect to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in varying temperatures. A rotating day/night schedule applies, and Love’s will cover the DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn electrical/diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Able to move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Willing to participate in rotating day/night shifts.
• Must obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (DOT) (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services for diesel equipment.
• Operate safely under company safety policies and procedures.
• Adapt to a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
