Love's Travel Stops in Providence Forge, Virginia invites you to join its Diesel Apprentices program. If you’re mechanically inclined with no professional experience, we’ll teach you repairs, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance while you interact with customers and drivers.

As an apprentice you’ll learn electrical, air systems, wheel end and charging diagnostics, work a rotating day/night schedule, move up to 75+ pounds, and obtain a DOT medical card paid by Love’s.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; program will teach you.
• Able to move, lift 75+ pounds.
• Able to work in various temperatures.
• Rotating day/night schedule.
• DOT medical card (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Learn diagnostics and basic repairs
• Follow safety policies and procedures
