Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is hiring a Diesel Technician Apprentice to start a structured training path toward becoming a Diesel Technician. You will train with experienced technicians, receive mentorship, and gain hands-on experience on Pyle's fleet.

Upon successful completion of the program you will progress to a Diesel Technician role, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our Class 8 trucks and trailers. The program offers a competitive pay rate, weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, tool

Qualifications

• A recent graduate or active student currently enrolled in a post-secondary program of study in Diesel Technology or a recent graduate.
• Your own a set of basic tools.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work all three shifts, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnosing and performing necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
• Inspecting and replacing general components as required
