Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Oregon is seeking Diesel Apprentices to join a fast-paced service environment. You will interact with customers and drivers while developing mechanical skills through on-the-job training.

The apprentice program covers electrical diagnostics and repairs, HVAC diagnostics, wheel-end and air system work, brake and charging diagnostics, basic computer diagnostics, parts lookup, and preventative maintenance, with safety and professional growth emphasized.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn electrical diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put safety and customer satisfaction first, following company safety policies.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
