Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Apprentices to join a fast-paced team where you’ll interact with customers and drivers from all over, helping with roadside services and learning preventative maintenance.

You’ll train in electrical/diagnostic repairs, HVAC diagnostics, wheel end assembly, air systems, air brakes, charging systems, and basic computer diagnostics. This role emphasizes safety, shift rotation, and growth within a family-owned, nationwide company.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
