Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor and work safely in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to expand knowledge through training, and the ability to work unsupervised with flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Candidate should invest in own tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers per standards.
• Perform diagnostic testing and communicate repair plans to Service Advisor.
• Repair malfunctioning parts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Encourage TA services during inspection reviews and maintain safety.
