Republic Services seeks motivated individuals to join its Technician Apprenticeship, a two-year program training entry-level technicians in electrical diagnostics, HVAC, hydraulics, wheel-end, air systems and more.

Trainees will perform routine maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, undergoing substantial in-person learning at the Dallas Technical Institute before on-the-job training at a Republic unit.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing a two-year apprenticeship program.
• Willingness to travel to Dallas, TX for 9 weeks of in-person training.

Responsibilities

• Train as an entry-level technician over a two-year program.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Gain hands-on experience through Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, TX.
