Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Apprentices for its Indiana locations. You will work in fast-paced environments, learn electrical, HVAC, wheel end, air systems, brakes, charging, and diagnostic processes while assisting customers and drivers.

No professional experience is required and Love’s will provide training to get you started. A rotating day/night schedule and safety-first culture support growth and development.

Competenze

• No prior professional experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.

Mansioni

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
• Work safely per company safety policies and procedures
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Diesel Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. Are you mechanically inclined with no professional experience? No problem!We will teach you!

In the apprentice program, you can expect to learn:

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
• Air system diagnostics and repairs
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
• Parts lookup and acquisition

Job Functions:

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
