Job description

Job Title: Diesel Apprentice

Welcome to Love’s! Diesel Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and engaging with friendly faces. You'll interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and days better. No professional experience? No problem! We will teach you!

In the apprentice program, you can expect to learn:

1. Electrical diagnostics and repairs
2. Air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs
3. Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
4. Air system diagnostics and repairs
5. Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
6. Charging system diagnostics and repairs
7. Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
8. Parts lookup and acquisition

Job Functions:

1. Assist customers with roadside services
2. Learn preventative maintenance services
3. Work in close quarters, lifting 75+ pounds, in various temperatures
4. Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction, adhering to safety policies and procedures
5. Work a rotating schedule, alternating between day and night shifts as needed
6. Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
