Job Description: Diesel Apprentice at Love’s

Welcome to Love’s! Diesel Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. No professional experience? No problem! We will teach you!

In the apprentice program, you can expect to learn:

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
• Air system diagnostics and repairs
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
• Parts lookup and acquisition

Job Functions:

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Work in close quarters, lifting 75+ pounds, in various temperatures
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction, adhering to safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night shifts as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
