Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers to keep travels smooth. You will troubleshoot light mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and assist roadside services while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires physical effort, lifting heavy items, and adapting to day/night shifts in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as listed.
• Provide preventative maintenance services as part of duties.
• Work safely and comply with company safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures
• Uphold safety and customer satisfaction as priorities
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s)

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
