Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems in a fast-paced service environment. You will interact with drivers and customers while ensuring quality work and adherence to safety policies.

The role requires physical ability to lift heavy loads, work in varying temperatures, and a willingness to work a rotating day/night schedule. Training and promotional opportunities are available as part of a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines.
• Ability to work with electrical and mechanical components.
• Strong customer service skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Must work in various temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain Customer satisfaction.
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night.
• Must obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions
