Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues on customer vehicles in a fast‑paced setting. You will assist drivers with roadside services, perform preventive maintenance, and prioritize safety and customer satisfaction on every shift.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, working in varying temperatures, and may involve rotating day and night schedules. Opportunities include company‑funded tuition assistance and benefits after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on vehicles
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventive maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in variable temperatures
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work rotating day/night shifts
• Possibility to obtain a medical card via DOT (paid by Love’s)

Diesel Technicians work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel‑end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
