Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping our facilities clean and faces friendly while servicing customers and drivers from all over.

You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions and A/C, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold safety and customer-satisfaction standards on a rotating day/night schedule. Lifting up to 75+ pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end, electrical, suspension, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds.
• Work rotating day/night schedule.
• DOT medical card may be required (paid by Love's).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end, electrical, suspension, A/C, or engine components.

• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Ensure safety and customer satisfaction per policies.

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components


• Assist customers with roadside services


• Provide preventative maintenance services


• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters


• Ability to work in various temperatures


• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures


• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.


• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
