Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, assist roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment. The position involves lifting 75+ pounds, working in varied temperatures, and following Safety policies.

A rotating day/night schedule is required, with Love's covering DOT medical card costs. We offer tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) with company match, health insurance after 30 days, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Safety policies and procedures compliance
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
