Job summary

Bobcat of Palm Beach is hiring a Diesel Technician to join our service team in the Palm Beach area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Bobcat compact equipment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quick problem resolution.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy equipment service, strong mechanical skills in diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and the ability to work across Parts, Service, and Sales teams. Monday–Friday, with strong benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in heavy and/or equipment service operations–skid steers, excavators, etc.
• Strong mechanical background including excellent skills in diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects, computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
• Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line
• Performing system rebuilds and overhauls
• Welding
• Work effectively with all levels of the company – Parts, Service, Sales, Rental
• Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor

$30.00 & Up DOE

Plus Technician Efficiency Bonus

Monday -Friday (7:00am-4:00pm)

Essential Functions:

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee isfrequentlyexposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanicalpartsand vibration.The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme conditions as this position works indoors and outdoors.The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

• This position iscontinually active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching,laying,crawling,and climbing all day.

• Employee butfrequentlylift and/or move items over 50lbs

• Many movementsrequiredto perform this job require a degree of strain on muscles, joints, and tendons in both your arms, chest, shoulders and back.

• Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus.
