Job summary

Hudson Automotive Group is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team in Prairieville, LA. Work in a newly renovated shop with a focus on diesel/HD trucks. Skilled technicians can earn $90,000–$150,000 annually plus retention and production bonuses.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, testing with diagnostic tools, diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, and communicating with the Service Advisor about required services and time estimates.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years automotive technician experience required.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components with diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts.

Salary Range: $35.00 - $55.00 hourly

Job Shift: Open to Closing

All Star Ford of Prairieville is looking for Diesel Technicians in our newly renovated Diesel/HD Truck Shop.

Experienced Diesel Technicians earn an annual income between $90,000 and $150,000 and can earn yearly retention bonus and production bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• 3–5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
• Manufacturer experience preferred
• Customer‑focused professional who is self‑motivated, competitive, and coachable.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test and possess a valid driver’s license.
