Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a busy service environment, maintaining clean facilities and serving customers and drivers from across the country.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical systems, assisting with roadside services, performing preventive maintenance, and lifting heavy loads. You will rotate between day and night shifts and may obtain a DOT medical card—Love’s covers the cost.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance or diesel repair preferred.
• Customer service mindset when assisting drivers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Lift 75+ pounds; operate in varied temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Work rotating day/night shifts as needed.
• Possess and maintain a valid DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
