Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores in Arkansas is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. You will interact with customers and drivers from across the region.

The role requires ability to move 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and a rotating day/night schedule. Love's provides a company-funded tuition assistance, benefits after 30 days, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues across wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, and A/C.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Move, lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters and various temperatures.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
• Always prioritize safety and customer satisfaction.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components


• Assist customers with roadside services


• Provide preventative maintenance services


• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.


• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.


• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.


• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
