Job summary

Love‘s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and assisting customers and drivers. The role emphasizes safety and high-quality service, with opportunities to interact with customers from all over.

You will troubleshoot light mechanical issues, provide preventative maintenance, and participate in rotating day/night shifts. Company offers tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) match, and health insurance after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Able to move and lift 75+ pounds in tight spaces.

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put customer safety and satisfaction first, complying with safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
