Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in Salisbury, NC is seeking Diesel Technicians to maintain and repair heavy equipment, interact with drivers, and keep facilities in top condition. You’ll troubleshoot wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components; provide preventive maintenance; work rotating day/night shifts; and aim for safe, satisfying service for customers.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
