Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians for a fast-paced environment where you’ll interact with customers & drivers from all over, helping make their travels better. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting roadside services.

You must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and be willing to rotate day and night shifts. A DOT medical card can be obtained with Love’s paid assistance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
