Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $31.31 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: up to $500, paid four times per year
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
• Hours: Second shift - Tuesday to Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Saturday 6:30 am – 3:00 am

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certification preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• Three or more years relevant experience preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• Other certifications as required by location

Additional Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs and diagnostics
• Computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.

Driving Requirements

• Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background, and motor vehicle check

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Replace defective components
• Perform facility maintenance duties
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
• Utilize shop management system and electronic documentation
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
• Mentor Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels
• Access and use maintenance documents
• Support operations as needed, including service island support
• Complete required training courses within specified timeframes
