Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Job Summary

We are looking for two or three Diesel Technicians to join our growing team and new commercial van line! We have a brand new Mercedes Sprinter Van facility opening in October and are seeking Diesel Techs to help launch our new store. The right candidates will have a strong service technician background and ASE certification. Responsibilities include performing work on repair orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

1. Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
2. Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
4. Communicate with Service Advisor regarding additional repairs and estimates.
5. Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification required.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
• Dexterity, mechanical troubleshooting skills, and ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
