Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians in the United States to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and engaging with customers and drivers to improve travel experiences. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, assisting roadside services, and performing preventative maintenance.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varied temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Interact with customers and drivers to assist with roadside services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, following safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components


• Assist customers with roadside services


• Provide preventative maintenance services


• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.


• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.


• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.


• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
