We are seeking a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Nashville, TN. The role involves:

• Completing repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Performing maintenance and repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Engaging in ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintaining personal tools

Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you should be able to:

• Complete complex internal engine repairs
• Perform unassisted engine overhauls
• Troubleshoot with limited or no support from diagnostic tools
• Have a detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Mentor junior technicians, including providing technical support and documentation

Compensation and Benefits

Qualifications

Technicians must have their own hand tools. A CDL may be required upon hire, and federal law requires CDL holders to be at least 21 years old. The position is subject to ongoing random drug and alcohol testing as per Federal Transit Administration requirements.
