Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking Diesel Technicians to perform repairs on trucks in a fast-paced environment and to assist with roadside services.

You will diagnose and fix issues across electrical systems, A/C, suspensions, wheel-end assemblies, and engine components while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. Expect rotating day/night shifts and physical work including lifting, with Love’s covering a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on trucks.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Willingness to rotate between day and night shifts.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
• Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on trucks.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift up to 75 pounds; work in varying temperatures.
• Always follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.
• Coordinate with customers and drivers to minimize downtime.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
