Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in Texas is seeking Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance for a diverse customer base of drivers. Applicants must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

A DOT medical card may be required and is paid for by Love’s. The company offers tuition assistance, PTO, a 401(k) with full match up to 5%, medical/dental/vision coverage after 30

Qualifications

• Able to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures
• Uphold safety policies and ensure customer satisfaction
• Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts
• Possess or obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
