Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Diesel Technician for the 1st shift (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.).

You will perform PMs, annual inspections, and repairs on tractors and trailers, including tire changes, brake adjustments and minor electrical work. Ideal candidates have a technical degree in diesel technology or at least one year of diesel experience and must bring their own tools within 30 days of hire.

Job overview:

• Further develop your maintenance skills as a Diesel Technician in Kansas City, MO.
• Handle annual inspections.
• Complete troubleshooting and component replacements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform PMs, annual inspections and repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Complete express services like tire changes, brake adjustments and minor electrical repairs.
• Communicate status updates to internal customers.

Skills and qualifications:
