Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is hiring a Diesel Technician in Jacksonville, FL for a direct hire role. Shift is Monday through Friday, 2PM-10PM, focusing on company truck and trailer maintenance and preventative work.

The candidate should demonstrate extensive diesel engine diagnostics knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair all classes of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role requires a Class A/B/C CDL license, strong communication, reliability, and optional ASE Master certifications (T1–T8).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL (Class A/B/C) license.
• Experience with diesel engine diagnostics and heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE master technician certifications (T1–T8) preferred.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs and work without supervision.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair company trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, braking systems, transmissions, and hydraulics.
• Utilize diagnostic tools for electrical/electronic systems diagnostics.

Vaco is hiring for a Diesel Technician located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a direct hire opportunity. Shift Monday - Friday 2PM-10PM Purpose of role: Company Truck and Trailer Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Overview: Complete knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and diagnostic tools. all major engine manufacture's component overhaul and repair; electrical and electronic systems diagnostics and diagnostic tools; brakes and braking systems; transmissions and drivelines; hydraulics and power lift systems; has the ability to diagnose and repair all classes of heavy-duty trucks/trailers bumper to bumper without supervision. Required Skills/Certifications: Required technician tool set. Class A/b or C CDL license required. Nice to have - All (7) ASE master technician certifications.
